Last month we were invited to the event ‘Verleg de grens’ (‘Push the border’) in Genk, Belgium. With this event, the Interreg Europe programme provided a stage for inspiring collaborations between Flemings and the Dutch to work on Europe together.

We organised a session for 100+ high school and MBO students from The Netherlands and Belgium. Together we played ‘Dilemma op Dinsdag’ (dilemmarama) with dilemmas based on key decisions the EU faces. Should there be a European army? Should member states help pay each other’s debts? Should we continue to buy gas from Russia?
There was only one rule: they had to pick a side.
See it for yourself and play the same game of dilemmarama in our stories! Click on the “Intereg EU poll” highlight to play along.
