Here in Europe

From June 4 to July 3, 2020, we will investigate the role of the European Union in daily life in the ‘Heer’ district (‘Hier’ stands for ‘Heer’ in Maastricht). We will “search” for Europe on the basis of three themes:

1) Security in a borderless border region
2) Green deal: the consequences of the sustainable transition at local level
3) Open borders and creative entrepreneurship in the border region

Digital research has been in full swing since April. From 4 June till 3 July, the search for the tangible and visible consequences of European cooperation at local level continues. We do this from a special base camp on the Raadhuisplein in Heer – Maastricht.
