Keynote lecture by Paul de Grauwe: ‘The fragility of the eurozone: endemic or temporary?’

On 29 September, Professor Paul de Grauwe will deliver the keynote lecture The fragility of the eurozone: endemic or temporary? in Maastricht.
De Grauwe is John Paulson Chair in European Political Economy and Head of the European Institute at the LSE. He is a world-leading expert on EU and US economic systems, focusing on monetary integration, monetary policy, foreign exchange-markets, and open-economy macroeconomics. In addition to his academic career, he sat in the Belgian parliament from 1991 to 2003 as a member for the Flemish Liberals and Democrats, and has further experience of developing monetary policy having been a member of the Group of Economic Policy Analysis advising the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.
