Europe in times of war

On Wednesday, 3 May 2023, Dutch Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren will give a lecture in the Europe Speeches series entitled Europe in times of war.

Ahead of the annual Europe Day on 9 May, Minister Ollogren will share her views on the European Union after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. What is the impact of that war and how do we keep Europe safe?

Afterwards, the Minister will join a live recording of Café Europa, the podcast dedicated to Europe from Haagsch College and Studio Europa Maastricht. There, Minister Ollongren will talk to Mathieu Segers and Annette van Soest.

This Studio Europa event – the Europe lecture followed by the Café Europa recording – is free to the public and will take place at the Muziekgieterij in Maastricht. Register here.
